50 Years of a Golden Legacy

UDAY8323_edited_edited.jpg

St. Arnold’s High School marked a radiant milestone on 5th of December as we celebrated fifty years of grace-filled service to humanity. What began as a humble dream in the heart of our founder, Fr. Joseph Puthumana, has grown into a vibrant institution that has shaped generations with education rooted in faith, discipline and compassion. The celebration was blessed with the gracious presence of our Provincial Superior, Rev. Fr. Santhuraja Ignatius, who presided over the function, and Sri Hanumanthu Rao, Senior Civil Judge and distinguished alumnus, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Many esteemed guests, benefactors, well-wishers and confreres joined us to honour this historic moment. The campus came alive like a grand festival as nearly seven thousand students, parents and alumni gathered in joy and gratitude. The cultural programme that followed was truly stupendous—a vibrant tapestry of colour, rhythm and meaning, presented by 850 talented students. Each performance was theme-based, reflecting values, aspirations and the spirit of St. Arnold’s. A special highlight was the ballet portraying the growth of the school, beautifully capturing our journey from the modest early days to the flourishing institution we cherish today. It was a touching tribute to the sacrifices, vision and dedication of our pioneers. As we look back on fifty blessed years, our hearts overflow with gratitude to the Province for sustaining this mission with unwavering support and fatherly guidance. This Jubilee was not merely a celebration, but a renewal—a reminder of the noble legacy entrusted to us and the call to carry it forward with renewed zeal. A special highlight of the evening was the principal’s declaration of our newly granted ICSE Affiliation number TS012 which was received with enthusiastic applause. May St. Arnold Janssen continue to inspire us as we step into the next chapter of our mission of transforming young lives.
